In addition to our personal touch we also support our customers through Electronic data interchange or EDI. EDI is an electronic communication system that provides standards for exchanging data via any electronic means. By adhering to the same standard, two different companies, even in two different countries, can electronically exchange documents such as purchase orders, invoices, shipping notices, and many others). EDI reduce errors and save a company money by providing an alternative to, or replacing, information flows that require a great deal of human interaction and paper documents.
Cross-docking is a practice in logistics of unloading materials from an incoming forwarder and loading these materials directly into outbound forwarder with little or no storage in between. This delivery service provides an effective way of streamlining the supply chain from point of origin to point of sale and reduces inventory handling costs.
Free on board (FOB)
TCP offers a full range of FOB services, providing our clients with the opportunity to reduce on transport costs. In addition we can support our customers by delivering stocks to their designated consolidation centers
TCP can deliver direct to our customers distribution centers.
TCP holds significant inventory levels to ensure we meet the needs of our customers. We work in partnership with a local, professional third Party Storage & Distribution provider. From their secure, bonded approved facility, the provider ensures that all held TCP stock is available for immediate distribution, thus ensuring a rapid response to any received orders.
TCP can provide our partners with distribution and customer service metric reports.
